Fly to the Sky received a warm welcome by the Mayor of San Francisco, Gavin Newsom, who honored the duo for promoting cultural and economic exchange between Korea and San Francisco county. In their honor, the Mayor declared July 27th as “Fly to the Sky” Day.

Taeyang is on fire. The m-lined Big Bang member just wrapped up a solo concert, will put out a mini album with his crew and now will be opening for Alicia Keys‘ “As I am” concert in Korea. (Ok, so the opening act was announced earlier, this just sounds better!)
The 20 year old was quoted as saying that Miss Alicia’s music has been a great influence on his music. I see. He’s just saying that for the sake of saying something nice.
